my bike got snatched last night without my noticeing
while i was home
and the window was open.. so i should have been able to hear them rip it off.

i think that they (i assume two people maybe) lifted it up the pole it was locked to
while climbing the stairs on the side.. arrrghhhhh...
its funny that they didnt snatch it the whole last while..
when my brakes were busted...
and i just got them fixed. :P (two days ago)

i had a beloved crazy old bike stolen from right outside my own house back when i lived in YOUR old house on trafalgar street! it was very depressing and it seemed strange that there could be a bike thief in that neighbourhood.
it was my fault though, i forgot to lock it up.

i looked for my initials where i carved them into the wet sidewalk in front of the house but it seems the city has put in some new cement since then.
i loved the way one door of the house never opened, and another could never be shut all the way. one half of the house was sinking.

we used to play the best game that involved one person being it and waiting at the fire hydrant..
while other ones went to the back of the neighbours yard.. or the parking and had to get to the firehydrant without being tagged.. the trick was which side of the house to go around to not get tagged.. a game of chance and running.
i remember the most delightfull feeling of grass and sun in the hour of afternoon afterschool playtimes. ooh to be so little...
